Over the past few years I’ve really made it my business to try to explore more of my own proverbial backyard, so to speak. Today I wanted to share some of my favourite places that I’ve visited here in the UK which I think are absolutely beautiful and that you must visit. So today here are my top most beautiful places I’ve visited to date in the UK…

Edinburgh, Scotland

If you like culture, history and beautiful scenery you will love Edinburgh. Edinburgh is a hilly city set upon extinct Volcanos and surrounded by the rolling hills of the Scottish Lowlands. Its heaven for Harry Potter lovers, as J K Rowling took a lot of inspiration for Harry Potter from the winding streets and breathtaking scenery. There is so much to see and do in this city and so much of it looks as if it’s been taken straight from the pages of a Fairy Tale. From Holyrood Palace and the rolling hills of Arthur’s Seat to Edinburgh Castle this is a city packed with culture and endless photograph opportunities.

Polperro, Cornwall

Polperro is one of the many harbour villages that make up the coastline of South East Cornwall. This was one of the most beautiful harbours I’ve ever visited with quaint winding roads, quirky shops and of course the beautiful harbour with its colourful boats. It’s especially beautiful in the Summer during Regatta Festival Season, this is also a great spot to visit if you are looking for a pet friendly holiday as so many of the shops, pubs and restaurants are dog friendly.
